Teaching Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy - Teacher Training Intensive (online)

6 day intensive online training starting Monday, April 15, 2024

Train to facilitate Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy programs in an immersive online atmosphere with guidance from skilled and experienced health care providers and mindfulness facilitators. 

This is the third module of the Centre for Mindfulness Studies’ MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program. The course is open to all MBCT facilitators-in-training who meet the prerequisites. For more details, visit the MBCT TTI webpage.

Sessions 1 through 6, from April 18-26, 2024, from 7am – 2pm PT:

About the Facilitators:

Patricia Rockman MD: Patricia is the co-founder and advisor of Education and Clinical Services at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies and the developer of the MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program. She has co-authored a number of publications in the areas of mindfulness and mental health and she has been educating healthcare providers in stress reduction, CBT, and mindfulness-based practices for over 20 years. Tom Heah OT: Tom is a mentor for MBCT and MBSR teachers-in-training at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies (CMS), and an MBCT teacher trainer with CMS and the China-Canada Mindfulness Association. Tom is also an advisor with the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. Tom has taught MBCT and MBSR in community mental health and to the general public for almost 18 years. Full bio here

Please note that some additional reading and preparation is required. It is recommended that you register 1-2 weeks in advance at which time you will receive access to the course materials.
