MINDFULNESS BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (MBCT)

January 25th - March 22nd, 2021

Eight Monday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00pm plus an all day session on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9:30am - 3:00pm.

Through the application of mindfulness‐meditation, cognitive therapy, yoga, and self‐compassion, participants discover evidence based techniques to manage difficult moods, negative thought processes and challenging emotions.

January 25th - March 22nd, 2021 *online through Zoom interactive video, with no class on February 15th for Family Day.

Eight Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, plus a six-hour mini retreat on Saturday, March 6th from 10:00am to 4:00pm

In this program, we integrate cognitive behavioral therapy techniques with mindfulness practices. With practice, you will begin to develop a different and more compassionate relationship to negative thoughts, moods, feeling, and body sensations that significantly lowers the rumination and depressive relapse.

Eight consecutive Thursday evenings, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Plus, one All-Day retreat on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 (9:00am to 4:30pm). Sessions are normally held at our Centre for Mindfulness Canada, #107-3711 Delbrook Ave., North Vancouver (near Highway #1).  However, due to COVID-19 all upcoming sessions will be held online via interactive live face-to-face format.

In this course, you will learn to bring a non-judgemental awareness to habitual patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviours that can lead to depression and anxiety, develop an early warning system and take skilful action to prevent relapse to depression and anxiety.

This course takes part over eight (8) consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00pm, plus a full day retreat on April 24th, 2021 from 9:30am - 3:00pm. *First and last session will run until 8:30pm.  Fee: $399
