MINDFULNESS BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (MBCT) FOR ANXIETY AND/OR TO PREVENT DEPRESSION RELAPSE

September 21st  - November 16th, 2020 

Eight Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM plus a six-hour mini-retreat on Saturday, November 7, 10 AM-4 PM. There is no class on Thanksgiving, October 12. Classes are held either online (if not safe to meet in person) or at Inner Evolution, 3263 Heather Street at West 16th. In this program, we integrate cognitive behavioural therapy techniques with mindfulness practices. With practice, you will begin to develop a different relationship to negative thoughts, moods, feelings and body sensations that significantly lowers rumination and depressive relapse.

This course takes part over eight (8) consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, plus a full day retreat on November 8th from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Location of classes: online in your home, through Zoom. Some extended health plans cover OT fees. Dr. Ron Pilato is a Registered Clinical Psychologist in the State of California.

Eight consecutive Tuesday evenings, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Plus, one All-Day retreat on Saturday, November 21 (9:00am to 4:30pm). Sessions are normally held at our Centre for Mindfulness Canada, #107-3711 Delbrook Ave., North Vancouver (near Highway #1).  However, due to COVID-19 all upcoming sessions will be held online via interactive live face-to-face format.

Classes are usually held in person at Mindful Living, 3263 Heather Street at West 16th, although currently our programs are offered online during the pandemic.
