Eight Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM,

In this program, we integrate cognitive behavioural therapy techniques with mindfulness practices. Research shows that participants develop a different relationship to negative thoughts, moods, feelings and body sensations that significantly lowers rumination and depressive relapse

Eight sessions in total with classes held on 
consecutive Tuesday evenings, except there are no classes on December 26 or January 2.
The program will be held at Inner Evolution, 3263 Heather St. at W. 16th Ave.
This grad class is designed for those who have already taken MBSR or MBCT or have mindfulness meditation experience and wish to further their understanding and practice.
in this course, we will address working mindfully with challenging mind states (anger, fear, worry and rumination, loss...etc) and body states (pain, limitations).   Classes involve mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation practices, gentle movement, teaching, and discussion.
